The 80th anniversary commemoration event of Weihsien Concentration Camp was successfully
concluded recently.
This event was fortunate to have invited many survivors and their descendants to
attend in person, allowing them to jointly relive history, pay tribute to the past, and look forward to a
peaceful future. Attached are some photos and videos sent to you and the survivors who were unable
to attend the event, to share this grand occasion with you.
During the event, everyone visited the former site of Weihsien Concentration Camp and gained a deep
understanding of the historical details during that difficult period. At the symposium, the survivors and
their descendants shared their personal experiences, family stories, and their profound expectations for
peace. These precious memories and insights not only enabled us to better comprehend the weight of
history, but also further strengthened our determination to preserve history and cherish peace.
This commemorative event is not only a review of history, but also an inspiration for the future.
We
sincerely hope that in the next event, more survivors and their descendants will come to the former site
of Weihsien Concentration Camp to jointly remember history and pass on the memory, so that the
concept of peace can be passed down from generation to generation.
Once again, we would like to express our gratitude for your attention and support! We look forward to
meeting you again in Weihsien in the future and jointly witnessing the memories of history and the
hope for peace.
