The Four-Year Anniversary Celebration for Weifang Being Awarded the International City of Peace held yesterday successfully. The atmosphere at the event was warm and harmonious. People from all walks of life in Weifang gathered together to celebrate this important moment and express their unswerving pursuit of peace.

On the morning of February 3, the launch ceremony for the "Passing on the Vision of Peace and Singing Praises of Better Weifang" event, part of the series of activities marking the fourth anniversary of Weifang's designation as an "International City of Peace," was held at the Weihsien West Civilians Concentration Camp Site Museum.The event reviewed achievements in Weifang's peace initiatives over the past four years, envisioned future prospects for peace, showcased the city's renewed global image, and vividly demonstrated its commitment to the Global Civilization Initiative. Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Liu Yun attended the ceremony, and also the municipal leaders Yang Jianhua, Mao Xiufeng, Di Bo, and Yu Dongju.

At the ceremony, video greetings and letters from people from all sectors at home and abroad were played.The original song "The Same Dream" with the theme of peace had its premiere. Liu Tiefei, an internationally renowned artist, donated the award - winning oil painting "Song of Peace" to the Weifang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. The leaders, together with Ji Shuchun, the initiator and leader of Weifang "International City of Peace ", the former curator, honorary curator and research librarian of the Weifang Museum, jointly launched the event of "Passing on the Vision of Peace and Singing Praises of Better Weifang".
