I have just been away from home in UK to Cape Town to celebrate first, Christmas, and then my husband Jerome's 90th birthday in January. He was given an iPad by his children, and I have been learning to use that on our travels. We are both still hoping to go to Weifang for the anniversary. Will we meet you there?

I am not yet au fait with the Yahoo system. I wasn't sure what my Yahoo email address was. When I eventually found it, I realised that I should have included my maiden name Cliff, so I deleted it and have joined again.

What a great collection of pictures. It is staggering to see how many of these aircraft were built. How grateful we were on that thrilling day in August, 1945 when they came to liberate us!
