It makes me feel honored and warm that you have maintained such enthusiasm and concern for my works in a distant country. Your support and encouragement is undoubtedly the most valuable source of motivation on my writing path. Unfortunately, Fire Horse is not available in English yet, so you can't read it in the North American library. The hero's predecessors brought hospitals and colleges to China, and the hero brought the Olympics to China. We are grateful! They used their lives to provide me with writing materials. The commemoration event of Weifang's third anniversary of its successful accession to the International City of Peace was successfully held on February 3rd at the Courtyard of the Happy Way and Weihsien Concentration Camp Museum. Your congratulatory video was an important part of the event, and together with the Board Chair of International City of Peace, congratulatory videos of the Weihsien concentration camp survivors and other institutions, that showcased to the world. Received attention and reports from major media both domestically and internationally.
We also invited Professor Liu Cheng from the School of History at Nanjing University, who is also a co-declarant for Nanjing to join the International Cities of Peace to the event to share the concept of peace and give congratulatory speeches on the event. Through this commemorative event and strong promotion by domestic and international media, more people have learned about the peace concept of Weifang and the significant achievements made in the construction of Weifang International City of Peace. The cultural heritage of Weifang International City of Peace has also become more profound.

I don’t know if this is still active but the Internment Camp museum is holding an exhibition on March 9 in San Francisco. The staff would like to take some oral histories while in the area. I am just trying to see if there is anyone on this list that might want to participate.

I am an amateur writer from Weifang, China, named Wang Binchang, living in the mountains southwest of Qingzhou in Weifang City.
The newly created novel "Fire Fighting Horse" tells the story of "Ledaoyuan and Weixian Concentration Camp". The protagonist Eric Liddell (Chinese name: Li Airui) came to a remote rural area near Weixian County, bringing the Olympics to this wilderness that was unfamiliar with competitive sports.
After being imprisoned by the Japanese army in the concentration camp in Weixian, he still shone with the light of faith on his friends in the darkness.
